Once Human and their recent mobile release brought plenty of new players to the game, but it seems it also brought plenty of criticism about how it looked on mobile platforms. Starry Studio hit their socials and hinted they they will continue to polish the mobile experience with major improvements to both graphics and performance, starting with some visual optimizations.

Following widespread feedback, from mobile Once Human players, the team has decided to separate high frame rate and high graphics settings for mid-to-high-end devices, allowing players finer control over visuals and performance. Terrain precision, texture clarity, and overall rendering effects have also been upgraded, while select devices will now benefit from sharper image clarity and better resolution scaling, ensuring that everyone has the best visuals their devices can offer.

Earlier last week, Once Human deployed a series of important hotfixes after the release of version 1.5.1. The hotfix list noted the updates resolved issues like disappearing resources from Transform facilities, abnormal bicycle turning speeds, and character model glitches. UI bugs, mini-map navigation line errors on iOS, and task panel text display problems have also been addressed. The team has promised further optimizations as there have been reports of lag and performance issues.

Currently Once Human has hit well over 1 million downloads and a 4.2 star rating on the Google PlayStore alone, marking its growing popularity on mobile.
