Once Human has updated with a minor patch with a new “annual scenario,” new animals, more Nutcracker Deviations, and a few new outfits to check out.
For one, if you’re curious about what else is coming up, there’s a new “Season Calendar” feature.
“On the calendar, you'll be able to view upcoming scenario openings, game updates, and events, as well as subscribe to notifications for the latest news,” the post explains. In short, we have a proper way of seeing what’s coming up instead of having to follow either the news page or X/Twitter long-posts.
Regarding gameplay, the update itself brings quite a few new livestock to tame and cultivate, a feature introduced not too long ago. This release includes Wild Buffalo, Polar Bears, Foxes, Snow Foxes, Snapping Turtles, and Sea Turtles. The post says that “randomized patterns” aren’t present yet and will be included in a future update.
In further news of Christmas arriving far too early, it seems like the first holiday event of the year has dropped. Even though Once Human calls it an “autumn” event, it’s called “Wishland,” and there is, indeed, a ton of snow.
“In a region of turbulent spacetime, a peculiar Eternaland has appeared—and it seems like there's a party going on there!” the post reads. “Grab your friends and join the autumn celebration together!”
The team has also started to drop more Nutcracker Morphed Deviations. You can’t fool the people, Starry Studio. This is holiday content. (I could also be entirely wrong. Let's see when I get back in there...)
Finally, there’s a new pirate-themed Battle Pass, plus some slick new outfits available in the shop and the usual, regular set of fixes that Starry Studio has been putting out.
