Tombs of Amascut is getting another rewards pass in Old School RuneScape, while Group Ironman gets some important feedback. Some other changes happened this week, including the arrival of RuneLite as a native option in the new Jagex launcher.

Tombs of Amascut is getting some more changes to the rewards table. According to the update, “We know that with the rewards passing, some of you felt as if we'd missed the mark with some of the rewards offered within Tombs of Amascut. There was a feeling amongst the team and the community that some rewards could be tweaked to be improved”.

First up in the new rewards ideas is the idea of a standout item, similar to the rewards from prior raids, the Twisted Bow and Scythe of Vitur. The new item here is the Shadow of Tumeken, which is a two-handed Magic staff. Requiring 85 Magic, when equipped, the staff also gives you a triple Magic Strength bonus from gear of +100% Magic Strength, whichever is higher. You will also get a triple Magic Accuracy bonus.

There is also some feedback and updates regarding Group Ironman. Previously, following the launch they made a few changes like expanding group storage, adding teleport shards and change it to the player housing system, but there was also an idea that was up in the air about making untradeable item tradable between group members only within the confines of Group Ironman.

However, the community could not come to a consensus and so they've decided to not move forward with it. Yet, they are still trying to offer options for groups, including responding to feedback about a lack of flexibility when forming groups and also swapping them. They are proposing a change to the rules structure that will allow Group Ironman accounts to group up but in exchange the group would be classed as Unranked.  So this introduces Unranked Group Ironman as a subcategory.

Finally, as promised,  RuneLite is now integrated into the Jagex Launcher. You can use your account information and even switch between the original client if that's more convenient for you.

For more, head to Old School RuneScape.
