A new KickStarter project has been announced for Ogre Island, self-described as a game that is playable from any browser anywhere and that will teleport players back to the grisly days of MUDs. Ogre Island has been running in one form or another since the dawn of the 21st Century.
We need your help to accomplish this game! A game anyone can play anywhere. Taking grizzly old adventures all the way back to MUDs, pulling new players into a world of fantasy and glory. Please take a few moments to get to know the game project, vision and community. We think you will find something special, a little old school magic mixed with the latest technology.
Ogre Island is a web based MMORPG. As a web based game, you will be able to play it anywhere, on any device that has a modern browser. Already existing is a huge game world map, giving players considerable places to explore and level up. The #1 rule on Ogre Island is to have fun. It's a funny little rule, but if we make the game, we make the rules :) Our goal is to make this the best, most friendly game for all ages, where family can sit down and play together.
