Kakao's upcoming MMO, ODIN: Valhalla Rising was on display this past weekend during GStar 2020 in South Korea, and with it came a couple of new trailers from the developer.
The first trailer, which showcases some of the regions and peoples you might meet on your journey. We do see large vistas, Jotunar to talk to, as well as some beautiful cities, but not much in terms of what it will be to play moment to moment. However, the trailer does show an open world for players to explore, as well as the different biomes you might explore, such as large, sun-drenched plains or icy-cold mountain forts. We also see players flying around on winged beasts, giving players more freedom when moving around the game world.
The second trailer gives you a sweeping look at the world before you, with the ingame camera sweeping across landscapes and through villages and forts, such as the fort in Jotunheim, and the forges of Nidavellir. All the while the Tree that holds up the realms, Yggdrassil, can be seen in the background. Also confirmed to be in ODIN are Midgard and Alfheim.
While we don't know a specific release date, Kakao Games and Lionheart Studio teased players with a "Coming Soon 2021." ODIN: Valhalla Rising will be releasing on PC and Mobile.
