October Rewards in The Elder Scrolls Online Offer a Mix of Spooky Decor and Useful Stuff

The Elder Scrolls Online’s October login rewards will offer a  mix of the seasonal to the practical, with Halloween in mind and the upcoming major PvP changes in Update 44.

ZeniMax is offering some spooky home furnishings from days 4-7 and 14, featuring items like the standing Vampiric Mirror, and 3x cracked gravestone. How about two Taloned Vampiric Braziers? All of these and more could help you put together a winning entry for Home Tours if you’ve just been missing a few creepy pieces to get ready for Halloween.

Later in the month, you will be able to obtain some research scrolls. There will be one universal research scroll that will boost progress of all tradeskill research and  scrolls for each of the following: Blacksmithing, Clothing, and Woodworking. Those who are well into Scribing will appreciate some new Luminous Ink gifts. You can get up to three of these by logging in for a total of 21 days in October. The team notes that these will come in handy with the new Banner-Bearer Scribing Grimoire coming in Update 44, which first arrives for PC and Mac October 28th.

Speaking of Update 44, that base game update will be overhauling various aspects of PVP and adding new options. PvPers will find the rewards at the end of the month pretty useful to prepare for diving into the new update. On days 28-29, which fall right after Update 44 launches, you can get 2,000 Alliance Points and 1,500 Tel-Var Stones to get you some new goods from Imperial City vendors or to prepare for changed Battlegrounds.

After a month of rewards and even DLC dedicated to dungeons, things are getting varied and decidedly spookier in October.
