If you're a swashbuckling swaggering pirate wannabe, today's news about the launch of mobile MMORPG Ocean Legend should shiver your timbers. The game has been released on Google Play and the App Store and sends you off into the glorious past of the 15th Century. You'll be able to take part in epic naval battles, trade with other swaggering pirate types and much more.
You can choose one of four different characters and opt to represent one of five different countries as you set sail through the Age of Exploration. You'll meet up with (in)famous characters such as Columbus. You'll explore the world using Cards of Discovery earned by completing quests.
There are six Cards of Discovery categories: History, Theology, Architecture, Art, Biology, and Geography. Each discovery opens up a new world of knowledge for players, and an opportunity to travel more and face new challenges, like difficult weather conditions, real navigation, and even other players in multi-player mode.
