Not So MMO - Starcraft Remastered Coming This Summer

For fans of strategy titles, this ought to come as happy news: Starcraft Remastered is coming this summer. The announcement was made during South Korea's "I <3 Starcraft" event by Blizzard's Mike Morhaime. 

What's new? Let's take a look:

• improved audio
• 4k
• part of the Blizzard app with full support
• matchmaking improvements
• zoom in / out of field of battle
• original balance preserved
• "fresh narrative interludes"

At this point, there is no information about how much the remastered version will cost.

The current version of Starcraft and Starcraft: Brood War will be getting a technical update later this month and both will be free to download. 

Let's hope a remastered Warcraft series is also on the way!
