In case you aren’t liking how your Ascendancy feels in Path of Exile 2, Grinding Gears Game is giving you a chance to respec it with the next restart patch. Ascendancy respecs are coming along with the next set of changes, though there are some conditions.
To respec your PoE2 Ascendancy once this launches, according to the dev post, you need to redo the Trial that would grant you the number of points you’ve already gained. Then, you talk to the Balbala or Trial master near the Ascension device. Especially in the Early Access phase as Ascendancies, Skills and Gems are tweaked, and especially for those who feel their final branch of choices isn’t fitting, this is a literal game-changer.
There’ll be more changes as well in this Path of Exile 2 reset patch that’ll likely be coming next week, as Grinding Gears has announced. In the same post as this Ascendancy respeccing, the devs share that a new tab for Gemcutting will show all gems currently equipped, and extra rare bosses have been added to Tower Maps and Hideout Maps to ensure players can achieve clear conditions.
Plus, they’ve already shared some more changes coming, including major ones coming to Act 3 areas and other smaller changes throughout the game.
