At a public high school in Norway, freshmen will have the opportunity to participate in eSports with the ultimate goal of competing in tournaments throughout the country. Students will be graded the same as any other school subject and be counted as part of a student's GPA. Students will be participating in League of Legends, Counter Strike: Global Offensive, Starcraft II and Dota 2.
This will not replace any of the 30 hours a [N]orwegian freshman has to have every week, but rather add another 5 to your schedule.
This will not get you a degree within e-sports, this will simply be another course that will be graded and added to your GPA. You can apply to universit[ies] as normal after you have finished your 3 years.
