Nipping at PUBG's Heels, Fortnite Scores 20M Battle Royale Players

Epic's Fortnite Twitter account was updates yesterday with the big news that the game hit a major milestone with twenty million players taking part in the free-to-play Battle Royale portion of the game since it launched earlier this fall.  Fortnite Battle Royale is currently available on PlayStation 4, XBox One and PC via Steam. 

The head-to-head competition between Fortnite and PUBG remains strong, though the former is no match for the latter in terms of concurrent players. Recently Fortnite revealed about 800k concurrent players while PUBG has touted over 2M.
