Nightingale has introduced an offline feature that is now live, along with a few other updates worth noting after the downtime.

Also known as Nightingale Unplugged, the offline mode was a highly requested feature by players who wanted a bit more flexibility in their gameplay. In a note left by Inflexion Games CEO, Aaryn Flynn, they stated,

“That leads us to one of our most requested features: Offline Mode. As we’ve mentioned before, Offline Mode was something that we had always planned on bringing to Nightingale, but we really underestimated how important it would be for a number of players at our Early Access launch. That being said, we’re really pleased we’re able to bring it out just a few months after our initial EA debut and give players more choice in how they experience Nightingale.”

With the new Offline Mode, players will no longer require an internet connection to play Nightingale, meaning those who might not have full-time access to wifi or connectivity are no longer limited to their spotty internet or lack thereof altogether. This also means that the game can now be paused at any time, whether someone has a real-life matter to take care of quickly or just needs to step away for a moment.

Alongside the new mode comes the ability to build from storage, which was something that was also highly requested by players. Gone are the days of being encumbered by a full inventory in order to craft a few needed items, which is a nice quality of life change. More so, there is also a new community event to take enjoy called “A Spark of Hope”, where we can earn decor, clothing, and even a bit of food for taking part in the event.

Several more features have been implemented, but these are just a few that have been added and were requested by fans since day one.
