Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds is marking 100 days since launch with special rewards, and a new episode of its Cooking Competition event.

Netmarble has the second episode of Cooking Competition at Evermore, just as they found the first when that was released. There are new Reputation quests, and a dungeon as well. For the 100-day celebration, expect a check-in event when you log in.

If you’re looking for a challenge, there’s also a special episode dungeon, the solo dungeon Witch’s Kitchen (Challenge). You can participate in any dungeon and take on the challenges without a ticket, but you won't get any rewards. Witch’s Kitchen also comes in a Hard mode, this time as a challenge for a party. For the solo instance, you can get rewards like The Cooking Witch’s Toy Chest as main drops and when the episode is done, those who are ranked can get special rewards in their inbox for being among the best. The Hard mode will also drop toy chests and give XP, as well as reputation points for the Cooking Competition, but there’s a chance for 4-star Sore Boar too.

From now through September 21st at 4:59 UTC, the Become the Cooking King event is on. You'll have to clear the event missions and claim rewards for doing so. The event missions are to clear both modes of the Witch’s Kitchen dungeon. Here, however, it seems that if you clear the dungeon without tickets, you should still qualify for the event rewards.

The update also adds a minigame, Platypaws’ Hot Bun Eating. If you clear missions you will get event tasting tickets to take part. You'll be able to play the minigame once you’ve got 10 event tickets. There are a couple of modes to play through, but a number of rewards to potentially claim by mastering them.
