Pax Dei is prepping for its next update, this time taking a moment to give crafting goods a glow up.
The social MMO released some information on its upcoming update on the official Discord server last Friday, highlighting the changes coming to the look of crafting ingredients and materials. The aim here is to make them both "visually pleasing" but also that the various "grades" of material were visually represented.
As a result, the team highlighted some of the various crafting components getting a glow up, showcasing some of the visual changes to things like blacksmithing components, carpentry, raw glass, minerals and more. Aside from the crafting materials getting a visual upgrade, new meshes have been made for those minerals, as well as the potions you can create using the in-game Alchemy mechanic.
This may seem a small update compared to the wealth of things the team has left to do as it marches towards its full 1.0 release next year, but they must be done at some point, so why not now? However, as player numbers dwindle on Steam, many Paxians might be waiting on something a little more substantial before returning to the medieval sandbox MMO. If they do, they may come back to their plot of land wiped by an impending plot clean-up planned by the studio.
