Next Expansion Named Forsaken with More to Be Revealed Tomorrow

Bungie has released the name of the next Destiny 2 expansion. The "Forsaken" name was revealed in a brief Twitter post by Bungie along with a short video that shows Cayde-6 and the Guardian landing on what many are speculating is the Reef, the home of the Awoken and the first game's social area.

Gamespot surmises that the name Forsaken could be a reference to Mithrax the Forsaken from Destiny 1.

The live stream will take place at 9:00 am Pacific / 12:00 pm Eastern on Tuesday, June 5th in the Destiny 2 Twitch channel. A number of big names from the dev team will be on hand including Game Director Steve Cotton and Project Lead Scott Taylor.
