Trion Worlds is preparing to unleash the next big content expansion for Trove. Called Heroes, players can expect the new scontent later this spring. As the name implies, players become literal heroes as they work to save the city of Luminopolis in partnership with the Resistors. Luminopolis is the "neon festooned" section of Neon City and is imperiled by an ongoing conflict between the Resistors & the Amperium.
In addition to the new questing content, players will be able to try out the new Expert Class called the Vanguardian. It is a heroic class "that pulls inspiration from the classic silver age of comic heroes". Considered a paragon of virtue and strength, the Vanguardian goes toe-to-toe with the enemy, but can be equally as effective from range.

Another new feature introduced in Trove – Heroes is the beacon system. Bright lights that shine in the sky to attract heroes to their challenges, beacons will test the mettle of even the strongest Trovian, summoning enormous enemies to do battle, with a great opportunity for loot granted to the victor!
It is expect that the Heroes expansion will launch in Spring 2018 across PlayStation 4, XBox One and on PC.
