Nexon has announced the final technical test for The First Descendant. The upcoming third-person co-op action shooter will hold an open test, meaning that if you want to take part and test out the game, you will be able to.
While the game will eventually release on PC, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and 5, this test is limited to just PC “to meet the goal of last-minute technical validation”. It is a short test, open from midnight PDT on May 25th through 11:59 pm PDT on Sunday, May 26th designed to help the team to work out any lingering technical issues and any bugs that might pop up as they prepare for launch.
Release is currently set for sometime this summer, and the team has recently been laying out improvements they have made since last year’s beta, in addition to unveiling new features. One of the recently revealed feature is the inclusion of instanced dungeons. This is part of the team's content strategy that aims to keep things fresh, with difficulty level choices, scaling challenges and rewards, and the ability to add more of these, as they’re endgame content.
They've also announced a number of other changes after feedback, from inventory organization to map adjustments. They also announced that they added support droids throughout the field to help players who were consistently running out of ammo too early.
