It's Winter Convergence Festival time again in New World: Aeternum. Expect gifts, rewards, holiday-themed recipes, quests, and of course, another round with the Winter Warrior.
For console players, this is the first time the event has happened, though even PC players can find some new options to enjoy when the festival returns on December 10th. You should be at least level 25 to start the quest chain but you should be level 60 to fully enjoy everything from start to finish. As you make your way around Aeternum, stop in at the Winter Villages to find gift piles to search through, get event quests from the Winter Wanderer, to exchange event currency for rewards, and even to craft recipes at the crafting stations.
It's the holidays, so there are gifts scattered around. In the settlements and in the Winter Villages, you can look for gift piles. Interact with the lit up trees three times a day and get four presents per pile. Gift Sacks are also scattered around, and If you're lucky enough to find one you can interact with one per day. Lost Presents are also scattered around the roads, including floating ones. Recovering any of these lost presents can be exchanged for winter tokens, but if you find and hit a floating one with a ranged attack you'll get 20 recovered presents to really amp up your take.

To light things up a bit more, Gleamite meteorites travel through the skies and crash land. Harvest these for shards to use in crafting recipes or to exchange for more event currency.
The Winter Warrior is the event world boss. Take up to 20 players to defeat it for a number of limited rewards. Three times a day, the drops will include 15 Dark Matter too.
As for those rewards, the event announcement has a full list, ranging from holiday recipes like Spiced Nog and Gingersnap cookies to several skins for musical instruments, furnishing items, housing items, gear, including weapons, and even skins to make your gear look like the Winter Warrior you just defeated. There are also several emotes, including “Throw Snow”, up for grabs.
