New World’s latest update is here, and not only has the team fully opened up Brimstone Sands for all players, they've added several new firework emotes to have some fun with.
You can celebrate the end of the Fury of the Spriggan event and a big victory with several new fireworks emotes. You'll be able to spend 1,000 Marks of Fortune for an individual firework or 10,000 for a pack of 10. Debuting in this update as firework emotes that will work for two hours on use are five new options.
The first is the Flower firework, the Dynasty firework, the Dryad firework, Ancient firework, and Shooting Star firework. The names should tell you some of what to expect, with the Flower firework exploding in a blast of color, the Dynasty firework being red and festive, the Dryad firework being emerald green, with the Ancient firework an explosion of purple, and the Shooting Star Going off with a shower of sparks.
If you can't make up your mind, you can spend 25,000 Marks of Fortune to get five each of all of those fireworks.
This update is mostly fixes and those new emotes, but there was an issue, so celebrations will have to wait a little while.
“Unfortunately during testing we discovered an issue that prevents all emotes from working on their first use. Our team is working hard to address the issue and deliver a fix as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding.”
Since this is a new update and the firework emotes are the bulk of this new update, it seems like that the team will be fixing it soon.
The other big change in this update is now Brimstone Sands is unlocked for everyone. this means players of any level can travel to the region. this comes, of course, in advance of next season, Blood of the Sands, which will arrive on July 6th.
