New World is opening up even more new servers in three regions to support growing population ahead of next month’s huge Brimstone Sands update. One additional new server will open tomorrow in Central Europe, Australia, and US East.
Amazon has been carefully opening new servers and increasing server capacity in order to support the increasing population on the servers. The team announced that the October content update will be huge, and bringing the new zone of Brimstone Sands, along with some major changes. There are new and returning players, so they are opening up 3 more servers tomorrow.
Central Europe will get Tir Na Nog starting at 12PM Eastern, with Australia getting Eridu at 6 PM Eastern, and US East opening up Olympus also at 6 PM Eastern. If you missed out on recent additional fresh servers that have been added, now is your chance if you are within one of those regions to roll on a completely new server with no existing territory ownership and get ready to battle it out for claims if you want.
If you want to transfer a character to one of these new servers, you'll have to have a server transfer token or buy one in order to complete the move. All the other transfer rules and server rules apply, and there will be no increase in character limit, so if you already have to characters in a region, you won't be able to create a new one, but if you have only one character in a particular region, you will be able to create a new one.
Some in the community have been asking for fresh start servers, similar to what World of Warcraft, RuneScape, and ArcheAge: Unchained have all recently announced. In those cases, there are no transfers allowed to the Fresh Start servers, making sure that everyone starts on even ground. So far, Amazon continues just adding regular servers to support population needs.
