Amazon Game Studios has a fast track planned through their Alpha and Closed Beta phases, as the game doesn’t have long before its planned release. Earlier this month, New World announced that it was moving back its release date until August 31st. This isn’t the first time New World has been delayed, and it’s possible we may see further delays if testing and feedback alarm AGS of underlying concerns that would prohibit the success of the game.
