New World’s latest event, Community Convergence, is on now through June 3rd. Expect some free gifts, Twitch Drops, player spotlights, contests, and XP bonuses, with some refreshed options each week.
Rabbit’s Revenge is coming back, with a new special reward this year, a flail with a special feature. YEt, the new community event is taking center stage. There’s a new Eye on Aeternum video to go along with the new event, giving everyone an overview of the community-focused festivities.
The event is organized by the community team to appreciate, well, the New World community, there will be weekly contests, and starting today, you can vote for the Twitch Drop cache that you would like to see the most. There are four choices for which cache to choose from, all detailed on the New World X (Twitter) account. All feature useful items, but some of the additional options differ. Voting will go on for 48 hours.

Every week this month, you'll be able to get a free housing item from the in-game store, with the first free item this week being the bearskin rug. Every weekend you can expect in game XP bonuses to be revealed. This weekend, the bonuses will be double gathering and character XP. There will be a new housing item every week, and new XP bonuses every weekend, with a number of other surprises, community highlights, and more that the team will be announcing along the way through the event.
The event is also designed to tide everyone over with bonuses and stuff to do as we all wait for the big reveals that the team has become very hush hush and unable to answer community questions until they’re out.
