New World: Aeternum  is getting a new Outpost Rush map this season, Coral Divide. Before its official release, there’s a preview weekend event on the way. Not only can you try out the new map and earn rewards, but you'll also help the team to refine it before its final release.

Coral Divide is a smaller map designed with fewer paths between the outposts. Direct paths are a premium here, and there are fewer open areas overall, offering more controlled sightlines. This means you may have to pivot away from your usual strategies. The design is intended to be balanced, but with plenty of opportunities for battles to break out. The Amazon team notes that they decided to create this new map based on player feedback to begin with, so it’s fitting that the preview weekend will help them get it out to all.

Access begins on February 7th at  6:00 p.m. UTC / 1:00 p.m. Eastern and ends on Monday February 10th, at 3:00 p.m. UTC / 10:00 a.m. Eastern. Once open, you can queue for the new map via the Activity Finder. Complete a match each day for a reward. Friday and Sunday will award a Season XP Booster on each day. Saturday’s booster is for gathering and there’s one on Monday for weapon XP. Each day you complete a match, you’ll also earn a Gold Cursed Coconut. Those are crafting materials and will be delivered when the Legacy of Crassus event returns.

You can also earn rewards if you have more time to watch than to play. Twitch Drops will unlock a series of rewards like Dark Matter(x50), Gypsum Orb x5, Regeneration Serum (x50), Powerful Proficiency Boost (x35), and more.

All rewards will be distributed after the preview weekend is over.

The announcement has more details.
