New World: Aeternum brings back the Legacy of Crassus event next week in an expanded format with new GS 710 loot.
Crassus once had two loyal centurions that were transformed into giant cyclops after being corrupted in Aeternum. Invaders, Roman influenced forces, have been unleashed, and those two level 70 bosses, Lucanus and Decimus, stand in the way between you and those rewards.
The event runs from March 11-31 st, a week longer this time around, which works with the loot setup and gives console players their first chance at this event. For those looking to get their hands on some new gear score 710 items, taking on the bosses is the way. This year's event features improved loot, which bumps up the Crassus exclusive weapons and armor to GS 710. Amazon has also added a loot limiter for balance, limiting you to one GS 710 piece a day, but since the event has been extended, you still have lots of chances at good items and getting a complete set.
The boss fights are repeatable, and as long as you deal at least 1,000 damage you'll receive rewards, including one normal box and a bonus box (three per day). Normal boxes contain useful items and a random GS 700 gear piece. Bonus boxes have GS 700 Crassus named items and a shot at GS 710 Crassus named items. After opening eight boxes, your drops become guaranteed:
- GS710 Named Item (still locked by the 1/week limit)
- 19th Legion Pickaxe (still locked at 1/event)
- Cyclops Lucanus Statuette (still locked at 1/event)
- Cyclops Decimus Statuettes (still locked at 1/event)
Reward eligibility resets at 5am local time. So you can time when you want to repeat the fight. there's more details on full rewards including all the chances over at the event announcement.
