New World: Aeternum will get another round of server merges in May. The team announced that several servers in the US and EU regions will be merged, and released the timeline to get everyone prepared.

This time around there are only four servers involved,  so this is a much smaller merge than we've seen before, even earlier this year,. “We'll continue to monitor population trends and adapt as needed,” the announcement reads. The merge itself is scheduled for Tuesday, May 6th.

In the EU, Draco will merge into Ares and in the US East region, Rosa will merge into Hudsonland. The first phase of the process will begin with some downtime on April 29th to disable character creation and transfers. They'll also open up one week to allow players who are on those servers that are closing to transfer to any other eligible server if they don't want to simply let the process play out.

On May 3rd, Wars will be canceled and refunded, and on May 6th, the final merge will happen with territories being refunded to their owning companies.
