New World: Aeternum has a new update coming tonight that will bring the Turkulon back for another season of featured mayhem, and a number of fixes and patching out a series of exploits.
The Turkulon is back on November 20th. Join in with others to battle the big boss until December 3rd for your chance to get some (or every single piece of special) event loot. If this is your first time playing this event, and it will be if you are new to New World on console, the team promises an event lore blog coming soon. For those who collect weapon and gear skins, this also opens up your chance to get the Drumstick of Death Flail Skin, Turkulon’s Juicy Calves Boots Skin, and more. It's your chance to keep the event and add a little turkey flavor to your combat anytime of the year.
The update also tackles a number of glitches and exploits to know about. If you had any trouble with getting stuck when you were changing shards, that should now be taken care of. Other crash issues have been addressed, along with a particularly nasty bug that was prohibiting respawn after death.

New World: Aeternum Review
As far as exploits, in War, defenders now won't be able to gain entry into the attackers’ camp. Additionally, you won't be able to climb cmp walls anymore. There was also a way to mantle to higher levels than intended that was fixed. Defeating Avarice in the Eternal Pool was much easier than it should’ve been, but that too has been patched.
Most of the update is all about fixes, and a number of them were annoying bugs like stuttering if you were using heavy attacks or occasional hanging or crashing on PCs with high core counts in the DX12 beta. The full patch notes show all of the changes.
