New World: Aeternum Previews Season 8's New Artifacts and How to Get Them

New World: Aeternum Season 8 is coming soon, and with it, a set of all-new Artifacts to collect.

The Old Crown, a medium headwear piece, is good for hybrid builds as it blends physical and elemental resistances.  Runic Greaves (heavy feet) give you a +33% move speed buff when activating a Heartrune. Both are available from the PVP reward track.

For light armor wearers, there are two to note: Vampire’s Vestments (light chest piece) and Lich Gloves. Vampire's Vestments lets you trade mana for lifesteal and get some mana back when attacking. Lich Gloves are aimed at spellcasters who want to stack power then unleash tracks. Both of these are available from the season reward track.

Chaos is a new way to use the Blunderbuss. Obtainable via Outpost Rush rewards, it “turns Blast Shot into a battlefield nuke, flinging ignited enemies through enemy lines for devastating cleave potential”. Flinging ignited enemies. Making a statement there.

Wit, for the Longsword, boosts threat generation and reduces enemy damage on crit. Tower shield Relentless is designed for support. Sacrifice some of your armor (and get an incoming heal bonus) to give nearby allies +35% armor. Both of these are from Mutation rewards.
