New World: Aeternum's open beta ran over the weekend, giving players on console and PC a peek at what is to come October 15th. Now the devs are asking for feedback as they settle in to get ready for launch.

In a post on the official website, the developers thanked players for their time and the feedback that has already rolled on in from the test, and has asked for the feedback to keep on coming.

“The team has been hard at work to make the game as amazing as possible," Lead Game Designer, Systems Patrick Smedley says via the article.

"Getting players into Open Beta to experience Aeternum and give us their feedback is always an exciting moment. Thank you to everyone who participated. We'll see you in Aeternum!”

The post goes on to provide avenues for players to bring more feedback to the table, from using the in-game feedback tool to the official Discord server. Amazon also says they will be sending out a survey email to gather feedback. If the social interactions in this one post are any indication, players seem to really enjoy their time in New World: Aeternum, with many players praising the improvements in the new version

We really enjoyed our time in the New World: Aeternum beta, playing on both PC and Xbox Series X, and are cautiously optimistic about the MMO's future - especially for the new console players experiencing the MMO for the first time.

While players will have to wait till October 15th to jump into New World: Aeternum (though, I guess PC players can technically jump back into Aeternum right now with the current version of the MMO), Amazon released the second episode of its World of Aeternum video series this morning to keep giving beta players a tease of what's to come.

The new video focuses in on the conflict between the armies of the Corruption, the warring factions, and the large-scale PvP wars the early moments of New World's 2021 launch were defined by.
