New World: Aeternum is getting a new round of server merges this month across regions. Amazon released details on affected servers and info on how to prepare for the changes.
Next week, on February 18th, the retiring servers will have a restart, character creation and transfers will be disabled, and the team will refund and cancel all Wars on the servers that will be merged into other servers. Between February 18th and 25th, if you have characters on one of the servers that are going away, you'll be able to transfer to a different server faster. If you actually paid for a server transfer token in the past two weeks and you moved your character from one of the destination servers to one of the closing servers, Amazon will refund you.
The EU region will see eight servers folded into just three. Andrometus, Asterion, Taurus and Siren will fold into Aries. Apus, Phoenix and Sagitta will merge into Draco. Finally, Aaru will fold into Nysa.
US-East will see six servers become four, as Cathaysia folds into Hudsonland, Arctica and Kalahari merge into Rosa, Kenorland and Cimmeria merge into Pangea, and Maramma merges into Valhalla. US-West servers Bellatrix and El Nath will merge into Aquarius.
SA East’s Cursa server is merging into Alkaid, and Pisces in AP Southeast, merges into Cerberus.
This is a smaller overall server merge than some of the ones we've seen before, but it's still one that you'll have to prep for if you're on one of the impacted servers.

On Tuesday, February 25th, the servers will be retired. If you haven’t moved off, you’ll find your character and items on the newly merged server, along with your Company. If your Company owns territory on a server that is merging, it will be refunded.
A previous round of merges was announced last November.
