New World: Aeternum will merge servers on December 5th. Amazon released info on which servers are affected, as well as info on the process to know before the changes begin.
A total of 12 servers will merge in US-East, US-West, SA-East, AP Southeast, and EU.
Artorius (SA East) → Devaloka (SA East)
Isabella (US West) → El Dorado (US West)
Lilith (US East) → Maramma (US East)
Centaurus (EU) → Asterion (EU)
Kronos (EU) → Aaru (EU)
Sutekh (AP Southeast) → Delos (AP Southeast)
All affected servers are cross-play servers and so the new console-specific servers will be unchanged.
Starting on Monday, November 25th, each server that will be retired will get downtime, character creation and transfers will be shut off, and all Wars will be canceled and refunded. If you don't want to have your characters merged into the target server, between Monday and December 5th, you can transfer to another server in your region if you don't like the original merge destination. Character transfer tokens will be on sale on consoles on Monday morning.
Finally, on December 5th, all of the retiring worlds will shut down, and the transfers will begin. Companies will get refunds for any owned territories on the servers that are going away.
If you’ve been playing for a while, you may have been through this process before, but if you need a refresh on the process, you can check out Amazon’s update with details.
