EverQuest’s latest new Time-Locked Progression servers, Teek and Tormax, are now live.

Members can roll new characters and begin their journeys on a more traditional TLP server or take their chances and introduce a little randomness into their adventures in Norrath. Tormax is that more traditional ruleset TLP server. Teek has a few rule changes. Both of these servers will start in Ruins of Kunark, with traditional and identical unlock cadence for the following expansions opening up, generally every 8-12 weeks, with a few exceptions. Both of these servers will operate slower than live but faster than the original EverQuest releases of this content.

On Teek, things get shaken up. If you've been through the Everquest journey a number of times and want to shake things up a little bit, this is your server. Not only is free trade enabled, random loot is the rule.  Rare NPCs will drop loot determined from a pool of NPCs of a similar level that exists within the same expansion content. That loot pool also includes themselves, so the surprise might just be loot you might expect from that NPC or it could be something entirely different.

You might usually try to farm particular bosses for certain pieces, to complete sets, or otherwise, but on Teek, all of that is out the window. However, the other side of that is that you can get set pieces and other loot from other NPCs that you might have only been able to get from one, but it's all up to the luck of the draw.

Both of the new servers are now open to all Daybreak All Access subscribers. For the launch, there are some new bag bundles and packs to get you started.
