Amazon is fast preparing for the release of Throne and Liberty in October and they’re kicking off a new video series to get everyone familiar with the game and what it offers.
In the first entry of First Day in Solisium, we get a few ideas of what’s possible as a Starborn in the game. As a big MMO, you'll have to decide where to go and how to explore, and as the video notes, who to slay. Of course there are the usual mobs that you’ll find and yes, slay, but the video offers a reminder that while there are a ton of bosses, world events, and epic quests, there's a lot of smaller stuff to do out there. Though, yes, the main quests and epic story bosses, and sieges are going to be some of the standout features.
The narrator even reminds us that there are smaller quests, but that no quest is too small to complete, and also to get rewarded from. Some of the options will include region contracts, timed world events, and participating with others to take down World bosses. You'll get to unlock waypoints that let you fast travel around the world, and one of the other highlight features of Throne and Liberty, the ability to transform into animals.
When you do that, you'll gain some new skills that you won't have access to while you are temporarily transformed .Here we see the ability to transform into an eagle and fly. There are a number of animal options to unlock in game. Those who preorder Throne and Liberty can also get a few animal morphs, depending on the edition you purchase. They include the Radiant Swan Flight morph, Radiant Wolf Dash morph, and Radiant Otter swim morph.
With promo ramping up and official launch in just about a month, expect more of these to prepare for your first day in Solisium.
