Intrepid Studios is growing according to today's Ashes of Creation press announcement. Five new members have joined up that bring development experience from EverQuest to H1Z1. In addition, Panopticon Labs has been brought on board to assist the team with fraud prevention and detection mechanisms. These will be systems designed especially for Ashes of Creation.
New team members are:
- Lead Economic Designer Rocco Scandizzo whose biography includes past positions as Director of Franchise & License Development at Activision and Director of Strategic Growth at Vivendi.
- Lead Programmer Kevin McPherson who has worked on EverQuest 1&2, PlanetSide 1&2, and Vanguard.
- Lead Technical Designer Akil Hooper who has worked for Sony Online Entertainment, Obsidian Entertainment and Disney Interactive.
- Senior Character Artist Mat Broome who has worked on multiple MMOs including DC Universe Online, the EverQuest franchise, PlanetSide 2 and H1Z1.
- Programmer Alex Khudoliy has worked for Amazon as a software developer.
