Tarisland will launch on June 21st. The fantasy MMORPG from developer Locojoy and Tencent also got a new trailer to announce the launch date and show off some of the terror in the world with the reveal of the final boss, the Blight Dragon.
In less than a month, Tarisland will be open for all. The team has recently been revealing different classes, what they're working on in terms of short-term improvements before launch and longer-term improvements via developer updates, and they are running a global technical test this week.
The recent launch of pre-registration campaigns and more previews of classes like the Paladin, the Ranger, the Bard, and more reveals were hinting that a release date was likely to be announced soon, and now we have it. In a press release accompanying the launch date announcement, Level Infinite has reveals that there are over 3 million pre-registrations so far waiting for the release on PC and mobile.
As for that dragon it is, “Covered in impenetrable scales, with a wingspan nearing 200 meters, this beast is the first dragon hatched in the universe and an unstoppable force on the battlefield”. While that already conveys a sense of danger and scale, the trailer strongly reinforces that. The dragon has been released from its shackles, as the trailer shows, and it’s not going to just lay back and relax somewhere.
Tarisland will feature nine classes, with specializations and a flexible talent tree system is designed to allow you to make adjustments and adapt to different scenarios smoothly and without costs. Cross-platform play and progression are coming, with mobile adjustments designed to enable a richer experience. There’s an open world filled with different lands to visit and discover, peoples to meet, and the team also promises there will be different ways to play, including puzzles, different experiences and more that goes beyond traditional quests.
Now that the date is out, over the next several weeks there will be new pre-launch campaigns and reveals, including a web event called “Unveil Your Role: Class Quest in Tarisland".
