New releases for 2020 are on track, according to Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick.

The details were part of the Q1 2020 call (via Motley Fool) in which Kotick stated,

“[...] As of now, we're on track to deliver compelling new content, including the World of Warcraft: Shadowlands expansion and the next premium Call of Duty release, both of which are planned for the second half of the year."

Looking ahead and beyond 2020, Activision Blizzard has several titles in the works, such as Overwatch 2, and Diablo 4 – both of which were officially revealed at BlizzCon in November. At this time, we haven’t really heard much new information from the teams around these two titles.

You may recall that in the Q1 2020 Earnings call, Blizzard President J. Allen Brack made remarks stating that World of Warcraft is “a very social experience" when he said,

“World of Warcraft has been fortunate to be engineered as a very social experience, and that's as true today as the day we launched. Over time, we've listened to feedback from the community, and the game has evolved to what we now call the "modern game," which has really expanded the breadth and the depth of gameplay, as well as making it easier to kind of find friends, group up, make progress, or play alone, all within the social environment.”
