During their Nanoleaf Live 2023 presentation today, Nanoleaf officially announced two new products that would be available for presale immediately.

The first item revealed today was the new Nanoleaf 4D, a camera and light strip kit that will mirror the content on your screen and expand it past the frame of your TV. The 4D kit can be used with any TV up to 85” and will finally allow you to Screen Mirror your favorite movies, TV shows, and console games just like you already do with your PC monitor.

The Nanoleaf 4D Kit will have four levels of immersion to suit your mood and the content you are watching. In 1D mode, the addressable light strip will display an ambient white glow that matches the brightness of the content on the screen. To add more depth to what you are viewing, 2D mode will emit the most dominant color on the screen across the entire light strip.

In 3D mode, the camera takes multiple colors from your screen and spreads them across the light strip to create an effect that isn’t overly dynamic. Finally, in 4D mode, the light strip reflects an exact match of the colors on the screen to fully immerse you in the action on the screen. And with Nanoleaf’s Sync+ Technology, the 4D kit can be used to extend the mirror effect across all of your Nanoleaf RGB devices in the room.

The Nanoleaf 4D kit comes in two sizes. Option 1 includes the Screen Mirror Camera, all accessories, and a light strip that will fit up to a 65” TV and retails for $99.99. Option 2 includes the same kit as the first option but with a longer light strip that will fit up to an 85” TV for $199.99. For those who want to forego the light strip and use their existing Nanoleaf lighting, the camera can be purchased separately for $79.99. All kits are available for pre-order now through Nanoleaf Store or Bestbuy.com.

The second big reveal from Nanoleaf was the continuation of the Ultra Black Shapes line to include hexagons. The Ultra Black Hexagons will be fully compatible with the rest of the Shapes lineup and have been an often-requested addition since the release of the popular Ultra Black Triangles last year. Like the Triangles, the Ultra Black Hexagons will feature a 360° black finish on the panels and all accessories.

The Ultra Black Hexagons are available for pre-order now through the Nanoleaf Shop and Bestbuy.com. The Smarter Kit, which includes 9 panels, a controller, a power supply, mounting tape, and linkers, retails for $219.99, while the Expansion Pack of 3 panels and linkers can be had for $69.99.  are expected to ship in late July.

Nanoleaf will also be expanding its gaming integration through a new partnership with Overwolf gaming software. By pairing Overwolf with the Nanoleaf App, gamers can create customized event reactions for each game supported by Overwatch (Apex Legends, Call of Duty, DotA, and many more). To push the immersion to its fullest, Overwolf can be used with Screen Mirror to mirror the colors on your screen in between event reactions. Overwolf integration is live now in the Nanoleaf App.
