New Pax Dei Images Show Off Variety in Characters and Player-Created Elements

Mainframe Industries has been conducting a Friends and Family test for Pax Dei, and while there’s no firm schedule yet for more public tests, there are some new screenshots from the current build to whet your appetite for the next one.

This time, the focus is on characters, and the new screenshots show off what testers have been putting together.

As described on the game’s official Discord: “We continue our exploration of the F&F build, this time focusing on characters. Our testers have created a myriad of avatars, posing in their best outfits!”

Given that everything in Pax Dei will be player-created, from structures to furniture, to gear, even though some of what we’re looking at comes down to how players want to express themselves, everything in the images has players’ work all over it.

Some of the images feature big castles or rooms in homes, so if you see it in these images and elsewhere in the game if and when you have access, you can more than likely find ways to create it. Maybe the woman with her bow looks like fashion inspiration for your future character, or maybe the guy relaxing on the rug is like another version of you.

Pax Dei is heading not just for another public playtest, but Early Access. Early Access was announced earlier this month, and it will be happening sometime in the spring. The next play test is confirmed to be coming sometime this quarter, and the team will share more details on both of these in the coming weeks.
