New MMORPG Eternal Magic accused of ripping off Guild Wars 2, World of Warcraft and SMITE

Controversy brews as new MMORPG Eternal Magic is accused of ripping of Guild Wars 2, World of Warcraft, and SMITE.

First up is a Reddit post which displays screenshots from Eternal Magic and Guild Wars to comparing the PvP mode. There are some similarities with respect to map layout and even the lighting.

Further down the post shows off similarities in skill icons between the two games.

“They also copied some skill icons. For example "Lightning Surge" from air staff elementalist. They are exacly the same icon.

Additionally, a Russian YouTube video traverses various parts of the map and shows off striking similarities between Eternal Magic and WoW Battlegrounds. The video is lengthy, but you can watch it below.
