In a Facebook post, new information for Wild West Online was revealed with respect to old accounts and how they’ll be managed for the rebranded game, New Frontier.
The post reads,
“For the old WWO players, we have acquired the logins, premium currency balance (TN), cosmetics and Mail Box size. There were also already premium currency given as a bonus to those who come back to the game still and extra to those who came back during the Alpha release on the website.”
Additionally, every Wild West Online player that plays during July and August 2019 will receive a bonus of TN, depending on your Wild West Online account type:
- Townie 750 TN
- Pioneer 1500 TN
- Collector 4000 TN
The reason for this change was due to ownership,
“Wild West Online was a game that used Free Reign Entertainment's engine but it was not developed or managed by the company.
After the game had failed, Free Reign took over everything including the development of the game. The development team behind New Frontier is not the same team that worked on Wild West Online, hence the name change on the game.”
New Frontier will remain free to play.
