Overwolf has announced taht Ezra Hoch, Ph.D. has been brought on board as the vice president for research and development at the company. In addition, former X-Fire technology exec Chris Kirmse has been brought on to the company's advisory team.
The company’s first product, a software overlay client called the “Overwolf Client”, adds social features and functionality to games enabling players to share, socialize and evangelize for their favorite games. With support for Facebook, Twitter, Skype, MSN, an integrated web browser and the ability to record and share game play videos and screenshots, publishers are adding social features and increasing the stickiness of their games quickly and easily using Overwolf.
