Lost Ark has released full details on tomorrow’s first major December update, Voldis Wonderland. Not only will the new continent of Voldis debut, there’s a new Guardian Raid, Proving Grounds Season 4, and a holiday event too.
The city of Kalinar on the new continent, with 1520 item level requires, will be the hub. This is a city within a continent known for its sages and alchemy. The city is located at the mouth of a river and is full of tourists who come to seek advice from the Sages as well as to visit. There are cute homunculi around the city as well, acting as helpers and running errands for the residents. The Sages, with all of their knowledge and secrets of alchemy and more, will be important to your preparations for the war to come.
The new continent is one where nature, and specifically, giant trees of the Great Rainforest, are there to explore outside of the city of Kalinar. In this lush area, there are secrets to discover, people to meet, and new monsters to encounter. The people of the Forest, the Raiyas, will also be pivotal to finishing the story and important to additional quests and an epilogue later.
Expect new storyline quests, new tasks, collectibles, new achievements and titles, new card sets, and a number of cosmetics and more items. There’s a brand new field boss to challenge too, Drakus, a Chaos Gate, and a new Chaos Dungeon. Ooh, and if you were looking for another Guardian to defeat and add to your list of accomplishments, Gargadeth is coming. These all require IL 1610.
Gargadeth is the second Purification I Guardian added, and you can find him in the new Shadowed Swamp of Silence map. Prepare for a storm, as he can control the weather and use it to his advantage. If you manage to defeat Gargadeth, you may get honing materials, the Legendary Galewind skill rune, and new achievements, a card, new title, and more.
It’s also holiday time in Arkesia, with the Freja Island event, new seasonal event. Enter the Naughty and Nice maze on the island to earn yourself some rewards. Earn tokens from the event or through Chaos Dungeons and Guardian Raids. However you earn them, you can spend the tokens at the event shop for a number of holiday themed rewards. there will be new activities arriving in January and the island will be there through february.
The second December update will be released on the 20th, but until then, there's a lot coming to Lost Ark tomorrow to keep everyone busy.
