New Apostles Lore

New Lore has made it's way onto the Dark and Light website. this time in the form of an exerpt from a lecture given by Prof. Lystullhug at the Free Wandering University of Ganareth

DEAR friends of... erm... Zerhotnichtgutlocholoch,

"You obviously know why your village is called Zerhotnichtgutlocholoch, which means in your so beautifully sounding Gnome language, The Lake of Hell, don’t you? You don’t want to know? You’d rather ignore your past and earn your daily fish? Ignore the important things that occurred in this place? What about culture? Do you even think about culture?"

(The conference stopped there. It lasted for three minutes by the clepsydra. Professor Lystullhog was left alone, mumbling meaningless sentences such as "Band of retards", "Complete morons" and other pleasant words. Then he opened his book on the "Lake of Hell" entry, with a footnote to "Layquelet the Necromancer", the latter with a note about "Nekresis" and an interesting appendix about "Vuuar", the Dark Elf Necromancer who founded the Dark Kingdom. The learned man peacefully read on, then turned white and started to tremble, looking at the dull blue-green water of the lake with a sort of sacred terror in his eyes. He quickly closed his book, and then backed away. Some say he walked backwards like that until he reached Wassgutwasskommt, the Source of Ale, where he is rumored to have started a series of lectures about hop growth cycle. And yet, Wassgutwasskommt is in the North of the Second kingdom, quite far from Zerhotnichtgutlochloch, which is located in the South-West of Light Kingdom, but everybody knows that. And just between you and me, this place shouldn’t be here at all).

Traveler, if your steps lead you to great Layquelet, be sure you are strong enough! If you really want to follow the Dark Path, and if you have enough courage, dig into people’s heads and learn. But if you do that just for leisure, run! For the forces of the Dark will annihilate those who try to awake them and do not master the Power!

(By the way, "Zerhotnichtgutlocholoch" can also be called "Zerlock". Yes, we could have thought about it earlier...)
