A new social feature has finally arrived in Marvel Snap with the introduction of Alliances in a patch deployed by Second Dinner earlier this week.
Guild like features are commonplace in many mobile games, but Snap has been curiously lacking in social features compared to its peers since its release. With Alliances, players can now work together to earn rewards and even socialize for the first time by using Alliance chat.
Alliances can be customized with a name, tag, theme, emblem, description, and more. They can be open to anyone or invite only and players can also set minimum Collection Level and Rank requirements for entry or application. Creating an Alliance costs 100 Gold.
Players can claim up to three bounties at a time within an Alliance to complete and earn points towards individual and Alliance wide milestones and rewards. The rewards so far are not super exciting, mostly boosters and credits, though the Alliance wide rewards also include a mystery variant. Rewards are tracked and rewarded on a week to week basis.
Later on, Second Dinner plans to expand the Alliances feature with Alliance Competitions, pitting Alliances against each other for what we’re guessing will be even more desirable rewards.
