Dragonslayer, Neverwinter's upcoming dragon-fueled module, will launch on June 14th across all platforms. This is the first time in Neverwinter's history of a simultaneous launch across PC and console.

Dragonslayer is inspired by Fizban's Treasury of Dragons, bringing players the ability to battle various dragon types thanks to the new Dragon Hunt system. This system sees players having to overcome unique challenges based on the dragon-type they are facing. this new system will see completely revamped dragons take flight, with all new attacks, abilities, and more to shake things up.

The new Dragon Hunt system was detailed this morning in a blog post on the official Neverwinter website and sees players visit Smerdiuk Dragonbane at his newly established Dragon Hunter's Camp. Players can take on young dragons solo, adult dragons in groups of three, or the most powerful dragons with five party members. the different lairs and mechanics of the fight will be dictated by the dragon type itself, and players can also add modifiers to their hunt to make it more difficult, all to reap better rewards.

Neverwinter's Dragonslayer will also feature an update to the beloved Temple of Tiamat trial, with new mechanics, challenges, and more.

You can learn more about the Dragon Hunt system on the official Neverwinter websiteDragonslayer launches on June 14th for PC (via Steam, Epic Game Store and the Arc Launcher), Xbox, and PlayStation. Dragonslayer has been playable on the preview shard on PC, for those who are eager to jump in early and test while the last kinks and issues are ironed out ahead of launch.
