It is almost time for the foolishly fun event in Neverwinter, April Fowl’s, to come back this year, and there are plenty of new rewards for players to enjoy.
There are always events going on within the world of Neverwinter, from the Feast of Lanterns and Siege that ended last month, to the celebration of 10 years going strong, there is always plenty to do.
On March 28th, the April Fowl’s event will begin once again, where players will witness something “Fowl” taking over. Earl the Chickenmancer has been placed under an evil curse, and it is up to the player to help Earl before absolute chaos rings out across the lands.
Those who take on the task of helping old Earl out have the opportunity to earn themselves the Golden Goose Mount, which is just adorable. For those feeling a bit more froggy, there will be a limited time PvP match called Fight of the Fowls, where players will go head to head to take the win.
Participating in either the PvE side or PvP side of things comes with rewards, which all depend on how many days the players have completed. Some of the rewards this year include the Basik Bok Companion, the Enlarged Chicken Mount, Earl the Chickenmancer Companion, Stick Chicken mount, and the Nest Egg Cache which hold five bird feathers and 35 bird feed. Bird feed can be brought to the Chicken Vendor to turn in for even more prizes while the event is live.
April Fowl’s will end on April 11th at 7:30am PT, so for anyone hoping to get their beak wet, they should do so with haste before it's gone for the year. This event marks the first significant update since the news that Cryptic Studios is shifting its MMO development to Deca Games after a series of transitions by its parent company, Embracer Group.
