Neverwinter has revealed its next module, Mountain of Flame, which is coming to PC and console on July 16th.
The team has reworked, polished, and repopulated the Mount Hotenow zone. Just in time for Gommoth the fire giant to decide to free and unleash the Primordial from within the depths of the volcano. This is obviously not good news, so it will be your duty to enter the fiery lands and stop these plans from coming to fruition. You will come into contact with and assist a Dwarven expedition to help you disrupt Gommoth’s ultimate plans.
The area gets a visual overhaul, as well as new content and new challenges. The fiery area now bursts with lava, geysers spewing ash, and of course mobs to take on. Gommoth’s minions are patrolling the area, with fire archons and cultists among the forces keeping vigilant in case anyone shows up to start any trouble. If you get past these lower minions, there are fire giant lieutenants to also try and stop you.
This update will focus on new content and reworked and improved content. Get ready for new content to explore, new story, and even some revamped content, like a new version of the “Lair of the Mad Dragon” dungeon. That title dragon is the Chartilifax. The Ashmadi cultists under the prophet Rohini Helm's Hold. Rohini has warped the dragon’s mind and made him guard the Hex Locus artifact. Choose to take the dungeon in three difficulties –Normal, Advanced, and Master– each offering unique rewards.
The module will also offer some improvements. Guild management will be easier with new features that will allow for detailed member tracking, bulk donations to the guild coffers, and the ability to change your guild and alliance names easily. There will be companion updates with improvements to characters like Celeste, The Siege Master, and Makos.
Mountain of Flame will also offer a brand new Battle Pass with a companion reward, Eric the Cavalier, from the Dungeons & Dragons cartoon, among the premium track rewards.
