Neverwinter is celebrating Day of the Dungeon Master, which opens tomorrow with the return of Respen and Portobello and their rewarding challenges.
This year's return of the event has converted it to an appointment event, with some additional adjustments. You can participate by taking on Portobello’s dungeons as daily missions and then run trials and tests in the Burrow Dawn Inn. You can also run missions to participate in Respen’s dungeons too (Respen’s Game). To ease participation, the dungeons during the event will function as skirmishes, so you won't need to have a tank and a healer to run them.
So give into the tabletop D&D inspirations and get yourself some rewards by taking part in the event as a D&D mini. There are even some new rewards this year. Respen’s Game dungeons will be available as random queues throughout the event, but every week there will be a new Portobello instance that unlocks.
This year’s event will run through May 25th, with a new Portobello instance unlocking each Thursday morning.
Tomorrow, the event opens at 7:30 AM PT with Week 1 – Trial of Traps & A Rock Falls. Week 2, Artificer’s Workshop, opens on May 11th at 7:30 AM PT. Finally, Week 3, Strange Things at the Burrow Dawn Inn will arrive on May 18th.
Participate in the various parts of the event to walk away with new stuff like the Balgora mount or the Portobello DaVinci companion pack. Other rewards will be available in ways that reflect the conversion to an appointment event. Neverwinter appointment events share a common event currency and that means you’ll be able to trade some for rewards in the Appointment Event Store, and Wondrous Bazaar. Some of those items include an Owlbear Figurine, Adorable Pocket Pet, and Legendary Personal Beholder Tank.
