Rumors have swirled for a while that NCSoft and Sony were working on an MMO together set within Guerilla Games' Horizon: Zero Dawn universe. New job listings by an NCSoft employee may have accidentally confirmed it, with a code-named logo with Horizon's art style.
The job listing leak comes via video game researcher Kurakasis on Twitter (via Eurogamer), detailing the job listings by an NCSoft employee on LinkedIn. The listings give details about the upcoming MMO, developed under the codename Project Skyline (formerly Project H), though Kurakasis points to a trademark listing for "Land of Salvation" as the possible final title.

"The game is now essentially confirmed to be in development, as an NCSoft employee posted a job listing on LinkedIn with a codename logo stylised similarly to the logo of Horizon games," Kurakasis wrote on Twitter. They say that the game is being developed as an "MMORPG to be precise," and that Project Skyline is being helmed by Hong-Young Choi (which a previous report also states), who led the team on Lineage W. Kurakasis goes on to state that development began in 2021, "according to a former NCSoft employee's resume on LinkedIn and Facebook."
Surprisingly, according to the listing on the official NCSoft Careers page, there is no mention of PS5 as a platform; instead, PC and mobile are the target platforms. This is intriguing as Horizon is a Sony-owned IP, and the two companies signed a "strategic partnership" late last year. We've seen reports that NCSoft was working on an MMO set in the Horizon universe since the beginning of November 2023, so this news isn't exactly surprising, especially as Korean outlets were already reporting that hiring had started to ramp up hiring on the project.
While the listing - especially the Project Skyline logo shared by Kurakasis - "essentially" confirms the existence of a Horizon-based MMO, neither NCSoft nor Sony has publicly commented. We've reached out to our NCSoft PR rep and will update this story if they respond to our request for comment.
