Naraka: Bladepoint has begun its newest season, Tenacity today, with the new Potential system offering a more adaptable, accessible progression option, a new mode, a new hero on the way, and more.
The biggest addition for this update is the Potential system, ushering in a casual mode. With the Potential system, You'll be able to play through a streamlined progression experience with a lower barrier to entry for skills and making Naraka: Bladepoint a game that newer players can jump in and enjoy more readily. Among the changes in this mode include letting you activate nodes that suit your playstyle, experience, and skills more freely, letting you play your way. this offers more variety in how players can approach bottles and a more casual option if that's something you prefer.
The update also adds a new mode: Hot Potato Counter. This is also aimed at a more casual experience, or you'll be able to try out a variation on the core gameplay with a counter battle that has a ball in the arena. Attack the ball to control and counter, instead of attacking other players. When the ball turns red, you need to fire it at an enemy or pass it to a teammate. Every time you pass the ball it gets faster.
Season 12 is, like much of Naraka: Bladepoint, inspired by some historical Chinese weapons and artifacts that lend cultural touches to the game. This time, there are new outfits and weapon skins in Tenacity, including an outfit for Zai inspired by a famous ancient sword, the Gan Jiang Mo Ye, and a clue and white porcelain themed cheongsam for Yoto Hime.
In the Festival of Water event, the Songkran Festival, the Swarm weapon gets a new touch: Hydro Swarm. That’s right, celebrate the water festival by attacking enemies with water gun attacks using Hydro-Swarm. The festival is on now through April 24th.
The next hero has also been revealed, the Maven Magnetist, Lyam Liu, who will join midway through the season.
Naraka: Bladepoint’s 12th season is now live on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.
