Naraka: Bladepoint Reworks an Original Hero, Presents Some Fiery Cosmetics, & New Quests in S16: Ignis

Naraka: Bladepoint Season 16: Ignis is coming with today’s update, an update which will see the release of a rework of one of the games original six heroes, Tarka Ji. He arrives along with some fiery new cosmetics,  events, and even four new free outfits to collect.

Tarka Ji’s rework is designed to improve him as well as lower the barrier to entry. The team released an updated backstory as well as a new showcase for Season 16’s new items, including those brand new cosmetics. For Tarka Ji, they include the Extreme Outfit - Infernal Armor.

The Showcase not only displays the fiery armor set, but how it looks in  gameplay footage. When you equip this item, there's a Return to Ashes effect when you slay enemies. When you are charging or in rapid movement or performing a charged attack, you can trigger special forms. The armor is available via the season’s Ignis Treasure loot box.

The Trial By Flame event runs from April 29th-May 21st. Through quests, assist Tarka Ji’s journey, helping him with his inner demons, via an expanded storyline and of course, loot. As you help him out, and progress the story, new outfits for Zai, Valda Cui, Lyam Liu and Takeda will unlock and be yours for free.

There are some new mechanics on the way, gameplay adjustments and more,  with full details in the patch notes.  In June, we can expect a new PVP mode that will feature a rogue-like system, but the team will tell us more about that soon.
